Growing up in the 80s, visiting Omdurman Market on Fridays with my grand mother was one of my favourite things, juice parlours, the bead sellers, the tailors, the butchers, the many small shops and the booksellers. This was Sudan's largest market and it is gutted.

A group of #Sudanese released a Safe Corridors Initiative new app, “Amen,”offering two key features: a secure route based on crowd-sourced data & real-time updates on hospital status. They plan to introduce additional features in the coming months & want feedback.

Conclusion
To conclude, some startups decided to pursue non-profit goals to help people, Cashsi points of sale have proven to be a reliable alternative to banks around Sudan in this time of war, and the terrorist organisation of “Rapid Support Forces” started fleeing off the state of Khartoum and the scales are beginning to shift for the favour of the Sudanese National Army.
