Louvre Museum at Paris opens a section for the Nubian Pharaohs of Sudan
In the 8th century BC, a kingdom grew up around the Nubian capital, Napata. In about 730 BC, the Nubian king Piankhy conquered Egypt and founded the 25th Dynasty of Kushite kings, who ruled for more than fifty years over a kingdom stretching from the Nile Delta to the confluence of the White and Blue Niles. The most famous of those kings is the pharaoh Taharqa.

During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims break their daily fast with iftar, a meal that is shared with friends, families, and even strangers. In Sudan, people gathered for iftar in riverside villages, desert hurts and suburban streets.
“We come here to forget it all,” one young musician said during the daily end of the fast. “The heat, the electricity cuts, the protests. Here, at least, we can sing.”

Conclusion
Mayada Adil at the Nubian Section at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
To sum up, May was slightly better than April for business, technology and finance in Sudan. We’ve witnessed the opening of a section at the Louvre Museum in Paris dedicated for the Nubian Civilisation of Sudan, Google Arts launched a new virtual experience to explore the Nubian archaeological sites in Sudan, electric rickshaws are coming to light, the opening of a new cinema hall at the Nile Club in Khartoum, and the first concert for the Yemini Singer Balqees. Also, Syber Pay e-payment application became more flexible as it added two features which are: the ability to transfer money using only the mobile numbers with the condition that the other party or individual installed the app and registered with that phone number and the daily money transfer limit is increased up to 5 million Sudanese Pounds, which is equivalent to around 8800 USD. However, the economy of Sudan is still catastrophic as electricity cuts will continue up to sixty hours per week and will disrupt many business operations, fire burned many markets and farms around Sudan and resulted in many financial losses, car fuel that was sold at gas stations is actually mixed with water and made many flaws in these vehicles, most of financial aids and deals to Sudan from the West are still halted since the military coup of October/25/2021, and doctors in a number of hospitals around Sudan entered open strikes because their salaries weren’t paid yet.
Don’t forget to share it with your friends, family, and all those who might be interested. Also, my door is always open for any feedback or advice.
And see you next month !
Cheers,
Ahmed El-Affendi.
