Hello there dear reader and welcome to the # issue from Sudan Croc Dispatch where you will read the monthly newsletter about business, tourism, travel, finance, technology, opportunities, and events in Sudan for August/2023.
Travel and Tourism
Suakin was an important Sudanese coastal port and commercial center before the construction of Port Sudan in 1909. It is located on a circular island in a lagoon and for the most part, its buildings were constructed using rock-coral.

This is Al-Nilin Mosque (“The Mosque of the two Niles”). Apparently the mosque’s design was a thesis project by Gamer Eldawla Eltahir who was a student at the University of Khartoum. The mosque was built in the 70s and sits opposite the confluence of the two Niles.

Conclusion
War still continues in Sudan in Khartoum State and the States of Darfur, but many Sudanese banks restored its SWIFT and reinstated the services of international money transfers. the airspace of all Eastern States is now open for civil local and international airplanes,
