Hello there dear reader and welcome to the 45th issue from Abkraig Dispatch where you will read the monthly newsletter about business, tourism, travel, finance, technology, opportunities, and events in Sudan for October/2025
HEADLINE OF THE MONTH
There are five major headlines for this month:
The Sudanese Government built a new Independent Authority for Cybersecurity under the jurisdiction of the Sudanese Ministry of Telecommunications and Digital Transformation. The New Cybersecurity Authority can be considered as an expansion for the old entity that was founded in 2010 “Sudan Computer Emergency Response Team” (Sudan CERT) or as a totally separate entity but with autonomy, bigger resources. more advanced technologies, and wider responsibilities.
Either way, hopefully this will usher a new age for digital safety, cybersecurity awareness, and cyber-defense in Sudan. 💻 🛡
Khartoum International Airport reopened again and its fully operational again for the first time since the war started in 2023 ✈
Turkish Businessmen who own factories and businesses in Sudan have returned to Khartoum and will contribute to rebuilding Sudan’s economy and livelihood of Sudanese people 🇹🇷🏭
Omdurman National Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with the Omani Bank of Bank Nazwa 🇸🇩🏦🇴🇲
Pakistan stepped up to modernize, develop, and enhance the seaports of the Sudan on the Red Sea 🇸🇩 🚢 🇵🇰
